What is MIR?
- In WiMAX Broadband, refers to maximum bandwidth with Subscriber Unit will be delivered from WiMAX Base Station in bit per second.
What is the RedLinkWiMAX CPE with Wi-Fi?
- The RedlinkWiMAX CPE with Wi-Fi (CMC-100R1) is an integrated and all-in-one single modem that supports internet access and Wi-Fi to allow multiple user sharing.

How many people can share the internet connection via the Wi-Fi or cable on RedLinkWiMAX CPE?
- Depending on the plan you’re on, the internet connection can be shared between 2 to 8 computers. The higher bandwidth plan you subscribe to, the more people can share the same internet connection

How do I access the RedLinkWiMAX CPE configuration page?
- Open any browser on your computer and Key in the URL http://192.168.1.1. The CPE web-based login page will appear.
  The default login username is user and login password is user. Users can change the default password after successful login.
How can I secure my Wi-Fi connection on CPE?
- Yes can change your SSID and WEP key.
Where can I change the Wi-Fi SSID and WEP Key?
- 1) Firstly, login with username and password.
  
  2) You can change Wi-Fi SSID as the following picture. (Be sure that WiFi on/off – enable)
  
  3) You can change Wi-Fi encryption key (WEP, WPA, etc).
Does the WiMAX CPE support other Wi-Fi security mode?
- Yes. The WiMAX CPE can support WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA2-Auto.
How do I reset the WiMAX CPE to factory default settings?
- At the left side of the modem has a reset button. You need to use a small pin to hold the reset button about 10 seconds before taking out your pin. The CPE will auto restart itself after this. Please make sure power is connection all the time.
  Note: Power interruption during the reset process may cause CPE to become non-functional.
Why are the lights blinking on my CPE?
- If you’ve just switched on your modem, give it a few moments for the connection to stabilize.
  The lights should blink in this order:
  1) Power LED is blue.
  2) Ethernet LED is blue if you are connected your PC with the Ethernet Cable.
  3) WiFi LED is blue.
  4) Wimax LED turn red and blinking ( Searching for the Wimax Signal )
  5) Wimax LED still red but Wimax Signal Strength Indicators are Blue ( User authentication )
  6) Wimax LED become red to blue and Wimax Signal Strength Indicators are blue ( Your connection is being authenticated and an IP address is being assigned to CPE )
  If you stuck in step 4 or if the Wimax LED is blue and red frequently after a few minutes, the service may not be available in that area. Try a different part of the house/apartment, preferably near a window.
How to get your best connection?
- To get optimal signal reception, place your CPE with the front facing the window or outdoors with minimal obstructions or on the highest floor of your house. If there are no windows in the room, simply place the Desktop Modem in front of a door.
Connection is unavailable after changing wifi password:
- The first step, right click on wifi sign of your laptop. You will see “Open Network & Sharing Center” tab and clickon. Then click on “Manage Wireless Networks” and when it appear click your wifi name and remove. After that, please search again wifi and connect it. When your Laptop ask to provide security key, please type your new password.
How to login redlinkcare.net.mm :
- Type www.redlinkcare.net.mm at web browser. When appear web page, please type your own service account number (eg: 100xxxxxx) at ID place and password place.
When mobile wimax connect to our laptop, it needs Pin Code. How come:
- Sometime, Window Vista OS user may encounter it when their laptop connects with mobile wimax with wirelesss. At that time, please connect with network cable with your laptop and CPE. Type 192.168.1.1 (if customer change new IP, please put this number) at address bar (or) URL bar. Type “user” (with small letter) at ID place and password also when Redlink configuration page appear. Then search “wifi setting” and click “WPS” under wifi setting. When WPS is enable, kindly choose disable. After that, click on Apply and then ok.
